With PA-infosys, IEF-Werner has developed an intelligent unit for data monitoring and communication for machines and components. With this intelligence, a timing belt axis monitors its own condition and performance and can analyze its own wear, among other things.

The perfect jump

Furtwangen Ski Boarding School is a training ground for talented young athletes. In order to lead the next generation of young athletes at the boarding school to success, an axis system is used that simulates the jump from the ski jump. This simulator was developed by IEF-Werner.

With the Domiline series, IEF-Werner offers high-precision manual adjustment slides. A precise steel spindle, ball-bearing mounted in an end plate and with a low-backlash, pre-tensioned plastic nut, drives the system.

Palletizer concept for production under clean conditions. In medical technology in particular, many products are manufactured in clean environments. High-precision manufacturing processes are increasingly being carried out using automated systems.

IEF-Werner develops self-optimizing linear axis

IEF-Werner has built a prototype for the EU research project Selsus in which an intelligent toothed belt axis permanently monitors its own condition and performance and analyzes wear. It also communicates with other components via a cloud connection and can therefore keep production running if there is a risk of failure.
