IEF-Werner extends series downwards
IEF-Werner has added a new variant to its Euroline series. With the Euroline 140, the user receives a compact axis with a stroke of up to 3.75 meters and a maximum speed of five meters per second.
With the Euroline series,IEF-Werner offers a range of direct drives that are well suited for dynamic and precise applications, for example in handling and assembly technology as well as in semiconductor and electronics production. New to the range is the Euroline 140, which moves small and medium-sized handling weights of up to 30 kilograms.
According to the manufacturer, it is quiet, fast and accurate in terms of position and therefore meets important requirements for use in measuring systems. The direct drive is encapsulated by the flexible metal belt cover, which largely prevents the ingress of dirt and the release of particles. This means that it can work reliably in both dirty and very clean environments, for example in clean rooms or in the pharmaceutical industry. The Euroline 140 also allows several independent carriages to be mounted on one guide to save space. The Euroline 140 linear unit is suitable for setting up multi-axis positioning systems, for example with the Euroline 200 linear unit.
Its smallest stroke is ten millimetres and extends in 48 millimetre increments up to a maximum of 3,754 millimetres. This version reaches a maximum speed of five meters per second, with a repeat accuracy of plus/minus 0.005 millimeters. Its peak force is 420 newtons. The Euroline 140 can absorb torques of up to 200 Newton meters on the slide.
All components such as the linear motor, position measuring system and linear motor are integrated into the linear unit. This provides the customer with a ready-to-install solution that, according to the company, requires little effort in terms of design and assembly and takes up little space thanks to its compact dimensions. as
