Tool and mold making
Iscar joins VDWF
Iscar has joined the Association of German Tool and Mold Makers (VDWF). The company hopes that this will give it better access to the tool and mold making industry.
The tool manufacturer Iscar joined the VDWF back in the fall of 2019 and supports the association in areas such as promoting young talent and providing training and further education for members.
"For us, membership of the VDWF was the natural next step in our development in tool and mold making," explains Günter Szerencses, Member of the Management Board and Head of Sales Germany at Iscar Germany. The company has gained experience in the market in recent years and has greatly expanded its tool portfolio for this industry.
The company will support the association in the promotion of young talent, the training and further education of its members, marketing, press and public relations work and joint trade fair appearances. It will also be involved in segment-specific specialist events, training courses, seminars, working groups and workshops as well as networking events.
"By becoming a member of the VDWF, we hope to gain bundled access to companies in this specific industry," Szerencses continues. "We are convinced that we can be a strong technology partner for tool and mold makers. We look forward to a good working relationship and are proud to be able to support the VDWF in its work."
The Verband Deutscher Werkzeug- und Formenbauer (VDWF) e.V. was founded in 1992 by companies in the sector with themain aim of strengthening the German tool and mold making industry. Since the association was founded, it has supported the mainly small and medium-sized companies that characterize the industry and strengthened them for common future tasks. To this end, the VDWF bundles and represents the interests of its member companies.
