The continuing momentum and confident mood in the AM industry is reflected in the excellent registration figures for Formnext. Among the exhibitors already registered are companies such as 3D Systems, Additive Industries, Arburg, BigRep, Carbon, DMG Mori, Dyemansion, Dyndrite, EOS, EPlus, Farsoon, Formlabs, GE Additive, GKN Sinter Metals Components, Hage 3D, Hexagon, HP, Keyence, Markforged, Massivit, Nexa3D, Open Mind, Prima Additive, Renishaw, Ricoh, Roboze, Rösler, Sandvik Additive Manufacturing, Shining 3D, Siemens, Sisma, SLM Solutions, Stratasys, Trumpf, Velo3D, Voxeljet and Xjet. In addition, numerous new companies and renowned international groups along the entire process chain will be exhibiting, including BASF, Bosch, Evonik, Höganäs, Linde, Nikon, Oerlikon and Praxair. Contract manufacturers specializing in 3D printing, which often represent the entry into additive manufacturing for users, are also currently represented by FKM Sintertechnik, Jabil, Materialise, Promod Prototypenzentrum and Quickparts.

"The entire industry is developing at a breathtaking pace and offers enormous growth opportunities for established companies as well as start-ups and SMEs that are discovering additive manufacturing for themselves," says Sascha F. Wenzler, Vice President Formnext at the organizer Mesago Messe Frankfurt.

Hub for Additive Manufacturing

In addition, Formnext also has offers beyond the trade fair floor. Formnext Magazine is published four times a year and provides the latest news from the industry as well as focused market reports and exciting interviews with experts from the AM sector. Supplemented by the Formnext Newsroom with articles from selected trade media, interested parties can find everything that is driving the industry here. Formnext.TV reports live from the trade fair and also provides inspiring and entertaining reports throughout the year. As a reference work for the variety of additive technologies, the AM Field Guide provides orientation and shows the key features of the individual AM processes. In addition, the Discover3Dprinting seminars are an offer for all those who are considering industrial 3D printing for their production.

"The AM industry is innovative and developments are progressing so quickly that a constant exchange is necessary," explains Wenzler. "By incorporating additive technologies into the design and construction of components and products, more and more profitable applications for additive manufacturing can be identified. A lively and active exchange in the industry accelerates this process."

Overall, Formnext aims to further expand its range of products and services in the future and thus inspire many more users with the possibilities of additive manufacturing.

Enhanced conference concept

At the same time, Formnext has also further developed its conference concept. This year, for the first time, the lecture program will be spread across three stages in the exhibition halls. The different focal points cover AM trends, applications and innovations from exhibitors and help visitors to find the right offer conveniently and efficiently. Formnext will thus further promote the important exchange between technology providers and users and make the content publicly available to all stakeholders in the halls.

The Industry Stage focuses on current, defining topics such as sustainability and digitalization. However, the agenda also includes new business opportunities and insights into specific areas such as the world of start-ups and funding.

On the Application Stage, various exciting applications from different industries will be presented on each day of the trade fair - for example from mechanical and plant engineering, the automotive industry, aerospace, medical technology, electrical engineering, tool and mold making or automation. The entire process chain will be highlighted for each industry.

Innovations from Formnext exhibitors will be presented on the Technology Stage. Innovations from the fields of materials, pre-processing, AM production and post-processing will be presented and discussed in morning and afternoon sessions on each day of the trade fair.

The "Call for speakers" for the lecture program is expected to start at the beginning of April.
