Trade fair for tool and mold making
Moulding Expo attracts fewer visitors
Moulding Expo 2019 closed last week with a slight drop in visitor numbers: With 12,943 trade visitors, the industry get-together for tool, pattern and mould makers attracted around 1,000 fewer interested parties than in 2017.
For the third time, Messe Stuttgart organized Moulding Expo, the industry meeting place for tool, pattern and mould making in Stuttgart. Overall, exhibitor and visitor numbers are slightly down, but those responsible are completely satisfied with this year's edition. Ulrich Kromer von Baerle, CEO of Messe Stuttgart: "The quality of the visitors is above average, 79% are purchasing and decision-makers. In addition, 30% of visitors come directly from the tool and mold making industry itself. The trade fair has created a marketplace character, it has undoubtedly arrived!" For Kromer, the task is to bring people together, and Moulding Expo has succeeded in doing just that.
The MEX in figures
