Innovations for double the service life

With the DH/DS series, NSK will be presenting linear guides at EMO that achieve twice the service life of the previous range.

At a distance - but of course

NSK presents a spacer element for ball screws that is made entirely from bio-based plastic. Compared to spacer elements made from fossil-based plastic, this reduces the_{CO2 footprint} over the life cycle by 90 percent.

The right guidance

Linear guides and rolling bearings from NSK are used in many modern automation systems for plastic injection molding. The Italian company Campetella Robotic Center uses them for the construction of Cartesian robots.

Self-lubricating deep groove ball bearings for low-temperature applications

For use in submersible pumps that pump cryogenic gases such as hydrogen and LNG, NSK has developed rolling bearings that do not require external lubrication. These stainless steel bearings with a cage made of self-lubricating fluoroplastic are used in submersible pumps.

No more unplanned downtime

A recycling company was experiencing regular breakdowns of the storage units on the conveyor belt of a waste sorting system. After converting to NSK storage units, the operator saved 51,174 euros per year.

NSK app checks industrial bearings

The NSK Verify app allows the authenticity of rolling bearings to be checked. Until now, the app only worked with high-precision rolling bearings for machine tools. Now other series can also be checked.

Recognizing the risks of counterfeit rolling bearings

The mostly unknowing use of counterfeit bearings impairs the availability of machines and systems and poses a safety risk. NSK makes great efforts to put a stop to counterfeiters and explains the risks of plagiarism.

Quiet direct drive for mobile robots

NSK rolling bearings save 10,874 euros in maintenance costs

A British soft drinks manufacturer experienced premature bearing failures on an automatic bottle labeling system. By switching to NSK deep groove ball bearings with non-contact seals and lifetime lubrication, the service life of the bearings was increased by a factor of 52.

Sealing improved

From NSK comes the optimized RA series of linear roller guides. It is equipped with new V1 seals and an improved cover. In machine tool construction, roller guides often work in contaminated environments.

NSK has counterfeit rolling bearing packs confiscated

NSK is committed to the fight against counterfeiters. In the Chinese province of Hebei, in Xintai City, more than 23,000 counterfeit packages and labels in NSK design were confiscated at the instigation of NSK.

NSK housing bearings save 5,000 euros

By switching to molded oil housing bearings, a beverage manufacturer was able to drastically reduce the premature failure of roller bearings on conveyor systems. The service life of the bearings has been extended as a result, and the user is saving more than 5,000 euros per year.

Management exchanged

A manufacturer of blow molding systems was not satisfied with the service life of the linear guides on which the mold's clamping plates move. After analyzing the causes of failure, NSK recommended switching to the NH series linear guides.
