NSK Europe: Dr. Ulrich Nass appointed COO
On February 1, Dr. Ulrich Nass took over the position of Chief Operating Officer of NSK Europe. The company is thus reaffirming its goal of continuing and expanding its growth in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The 52-year-old brings with him extensive management experience in technology companies and proven success in the company's main markets. Before joining NSK, he was initially Managing Director of the Closure Systems product unit at the Brose Group and then Senior Vice President of the Door Modules product group.
Until 2012, the new COO held various management positions at Kiekert, a leading global specialist for automotive locking systems. At the end of his career at Kiekert, he was Executive Vice President Global Product Development and Program Management.
Dr. Ulrich Nass studied mechanical engineering at the Ruhr University Bochum. In his doctoral thesis, he investigated the wear of worm gears.
