Quick-release couplings

Extended range of clutches

Riegler has expanded its entire range of couplings, added the ISO 6150 C and ARO 210 connector profiles and incorporated new features into its product range. The company offers safety couplings in swivel and rotary versions. They comply with DIN EN ISO 4414, EN 983 and can be used in a wide range of applications.

The swivel safety couplings have a free passage and vent through a vent hole on the back of the coupling when uncoupling. The special feature of these couplings, in addition to the coupling and decoupling process, is the extremely high flow rate of 2,300 l/min (air). With the rotary safety couplings, the pressure in the coupling and in the line is vented; this is a one-sided shut-off connection. The couplings are available in nominal sizes 6, 8 and 11 in accordance with ISO 6150 C, also with matching insertion nozzles and nipples including non-return valve.

Quick-release couplings consist of two components - coupling socket and plug. They are the ideal interface for safely and quickly connecting or disconnecting the flow of gaseous or liquid media in pipes. This enables efficient and reliable connection and replacement of systems, units, devices and their applications. The series and design of a quick-release coupling depend on the medium conveyed in the hose and the prevailing pressure conditions. Quick-release couplings are used for conveying air, water, oil, acid or various gases. sw
