New centering elements for injection moulding and die casting tools
Standard parts supplier Strack Norma will be showcasing new centering elements for injection moulding and die casting tools at Moulding Expo.
The square centring unit Z55 was designed to center mould halves in tools even more precisely. This is made possible by four surfaces that allow the centering unit to be worked into the tool by means of a precision-milled, square pocket and thus positioned exactly. The tool produces flat mold contours without offset. To compensate for different thermal expansions in the two mold halves, the centering unit can be inserted into the mold via the central axis. It can be screwed into place either from the parting line or from the rear of the mold plate. The centering unit is available for different mould sizes in five dimensions from 20 to 50 mm.
