Record sales at Protolabs

The first quarter of 2018 ends with record revenue of $107.7 million for Protolabs, a leading provider of rapid on-demand manufacturing; a 34.4 percent increase in revenue compared to $80.2 million in the first quarter of the previous year.

A total of 18,057 individual project inquiries were processed by product developers and engineers in the first quarter of 2018; an increase of 22.0% compared to the first quarter of 2017. Net profit amounted to USD 18.1 million; or USD 0.66 earnings per share (diluted).
