Iwis opens another logistics center

Iwis celebrated its new logistics center at a summer party on 8 June. With this investment, the shareholders want to lay the foundation for further positive development of the Wilnsdorf site.

A new semi-automated high-bay warehouse with a capacity of almost 4,000 pallet spaces has been built in Wilnsdorf in just seven months. According to Iwis, this is a response to new requirements in the process flow and increases the availability of goods for its customers. The use of new intelligent storage and retrieval machines and the direct link to SAP has reduced access times by 30 percent.

Due to the company's above-average growth in recent years and newly acquired major projects, this step was unavoidable: "By optimizing and expanding our logistics, we were able to further increase our competitiveness," said Managing Director Dr. Frank Mitzschke. as
