The contract manufacturer mbo Osswald has developed an online tool to enable it to offer its customers express production for drawing parts.
The reduction of process and procedure-related hurdles and delays for turned parts, which are often required in the shortest possible time, is mbo Osswald's top priority. For repeat parts in particular, all the data and technical checks are already available in the background so that all the necessary information can be presented to the user quickly and transparently. In order to be able to offer a solution here, the contract manufacturer offers express production for drawing parts.
To this end, the provider has developed an online tool that puts the authority to act completely in the hands of the user. The individual customer portal provides the user with all information such as price, delivery time and delivery options for all drawing parts already purchased, dynamically adapted to the desired quantity. Users of the customer portal have the exclusive option of sending drawing parts directly to the manufacturer's machine via express production. This reduces the delivery time enormously, sometimes from 8-10 weeks to 3-5 days. All process steps then run automatically in the background and the manufacturer interrupts the planned machine utilization for this purpose. This ensures the immediate production of the turned parts.
