Modular system in a digital guise

For more than 15 years, the modular system from soldering specialist Eutect has presented the entire range of modules from which the Swabian machine manufacturer develops solutions for selective soldering processes.

Eutect has now added additional functions to this modular system, digitized it and integrated it into the company website. "Our previous modular system was available in printed form or rather as a PDF. Due to the constant further and new development of our processes and solutions, the modular system also became more and more extensive, which is why we reached our limits with the print formats. It was simply no longer possible to present all the modules. We also wanted to make the modular system more interactive," says Matthias Fehrenbach, Managing Director of Eutect GmbH, explaining the reasons for building the new MBK, as it is known internally. "It is the task that determines the choice of the optimum connection, automation or software module. Our extensive, constantly evolving modular system provides interested parties and customers with an overview of the many possibilities," continues Fehrenbach.

The new digitalized modular construction kit offers even more information and allows for easier operation, a better overview, greater interactivity and a stronger link to Eutect's solution expertise. As a digital tool, the MBK is available online to all customers and interested parties. It contains all the modules used in Eutect machines, including brief descriptions, images and videos.

One of the new features of the MBK is a memory function. This can be used to mark the modules that come into question for the soldering task and summarize them in a list. Interested parties and customers can use this watch list both for their internal discussions and to contact Eutect directly.

"Our digital modular system will therefore become a central source of information, both online and offline, which will be closely linked to our other communication tools in the future, providing detailed product descriptions, images, videos, added value and links," says Fehrenbach.
