Company takeover
Atlas Copco takes over Druckluft-Technik-Nord
Atlas Copco has taken over Druckluft-Technik-Nord, a distributor of compressors and compressed air technology.
The company from Bad Oldesloe generated a turnover of around five million euros in the last financial year with 18 employees. To date, Druckluft-Technik-Nord has cooperated with various compressor manufacturers. The dealer will continue to provide its customers with services such as maintenance and servicing or the testing of pressure vessels.
In future, the company will offer Atlas Copco compressors and accessories for refurbishments and new installations. Existing framework agreements with customers and suppliers will be rewritten.
Sales and service offering expanded
"With this acquisition, we are expanding our service and sales offering in the greater Hamburg area," said Vagner Rego, President of Atlas Copco's Compression Technology Division and future CEO of the Atlas Copco Group.
Legally part of KDS in the future
Druckluft-Technik-Nord will legally operate as part of the Atlas Copco subsidiary KDS Kompressoren- und Druckluftservice GmbH. Atlas Copco will integrate the acquired business activities into the service division of the Compression Technology Group Division.
