Trade fair for laser material processing
6th Lasys with more exhibitors
Messe Stuttgart is expecting more exhibitors and visitors for the 6th Lasys. With its focus on laser manufacturing systems, the trade fair is further expanding its international significance.
"With a clear focus on laser manufacturing systems, supplemented by laser-specific machine subsystems, beam sources, processes and services, LASYS will once again prove its role as the leading international trade fair for the use of lasers in industrial manufacturing," announced Florian Niethammer, Team Leader Industry & Technology at Messe Stuttgart, back in March. From June 5 to 7, users, manufacturers and decision-makers will meet at the Lasys international trade fair for laser material processing in Stuttgart to discuss the latest developments in the industry.
Growing internationality
Niethammer is particularly pleased about the growth in exhibitors: "For the 6th Lasys, the organizers are expecting more international exhibitors, associations and institutions. Messe Stuttgart is expecting a total of around 200 exhibitors, around a third of whom will be coming from abroad. "We have noticed that LASYS has also continued to gain in importance at an international level," says Niethammer.
Messe Stuttgart is also expecting an increase in visitors: more than 6,000 trade visitors from numerous countries are expected to make their way to Stuttgart.
Supporting program for laser users
The trade fair will be accompanied by various forums and workshops: Directly in the exhibition hall, visitors can listen to practice-oriented presentations at the three-day specialist forum "Lasers in Action", the Stuttgart Laser Days on June 5 and 6 invite international experts and users to exchange ideas and at the Stuttgart Laser Marketplace, industry specialists from market research and industry will speak about markets, technologies and applications in industrial laser technology on the second day of the trade fair. A workshop on the first day of the trade fair will focus on "Laser material processing in medical technology", while a workshop on "Laser cladding" will take place on the second day of the trade fair. The program also includes a network meeting of the "Women in Photonics" of PhotonicsBW and the "EPIC Meeting on Lasers and Material Processing at LASYS" of the European Photonics Industry Consortium (EPIC) on 7 June. ag
