The latest trends and innovations in photonics will once again be the focus of Laser World of Photonics, which will next take place at the Munich Exhibition Center from June 24 to 27, 2025.

Conference "AI for Laser Technology"
At the second "AI for Laser Technology" conference on September 28 and 29, 2021, the current status of the application of artificial intelligence in laser material processing will be discussed.

Among other things, Trumpf will be presenting the TruLaser Station 7000 3D laser welding system and the TruArc Weld 1000, an automated system for arc welding, to visitors.

Powder for additive manufacturing

In the NRW lead market project AddSteel, new, functionally adapted steel materials for additive manufacturing will be developed over the next three years. A central component of the project is the qualification of the developed materials for the metallic 3D printing process Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) at the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT in Aachen.
