HPC reamers
High-performance reamers in various materials
To enable the fine machining of bores in series production, Hahn+Kolb offers new HPC reamers from Atorn for steel, cast iron, stainless steel and hardened materials. These are suitable for materials with a hardness of up to 63 HRC. The combination of geometry, solid carbide cutting material and TiAlN coating ensures a long tool life and high dimensional accuracy even after intensive use.
All versions are available both spiralized for through holes and straight fluted for blind holes. The internal cooling ensures optimum chip evacuation and cooling directly at the cutting edge for reliable reaming. The comprehensive range of semi-standard bearings with diameters from 3.80 to 20.20 mm is suitable for requirements of a fitting dimension. These designs are individually manufactured and delivered within a very short time.
