High feed milling cutter from Iscar
End mills with 8 to 10 mm diameter
With the NAN 3 Feed, Iscar has launched a solid carbide end mill for single-sided, triangular miniature indexable inserts (inserts) in the diameter range from 8 to 10 mm.
The concept of the new solid carbide end mill is based on the 90° high feed milling cutters of the NAN-3-Mill line.
The milling cutter is fitted with the single-sided, triangular indexable inserts FFT3 TXMT 020105T with three cutting edges. The inserts are made from the PVD-coated cutting material grade IC830. The inserts are fastened using the clamping system that has already proven itself in the NAN-3-Mill line. The screw acts like a clamping wedge, ensures a tight fit and prevents parts from falling off during assembly. In addition to steel and cast steel, ISO P can also be machined with the new milling cutter. The maximum cutting depth is 0.6 mm.
