Solid carbide milling cutter
For titanium machining
The MonsterMill TCR solid carbide milling cutter from Ceratizit was specially developed for machining titanium in the aerospace and medical technology sectors.
The solid carbide milling cutter cuts the material TiA6Va-3.7164 at a cutting speed of 90 m/min, a feed rate of 1,433 mm/min and a cutting depth of 18 mm in the five-edged version with a diameter of 12 mm. The tool life is 450 min.
The milling cutter is available with diameters between 4 and 20 mm and in various cutting edge and shank lengths for applications such as ramping, interpolation and full slot milling. With regard to aerospace technology, the tools are offered with corner radii of 0.4 to 6.3 mm, depending on the diameter. Torus and ball nose versions are also available.
