Solid carbide milling cutter
Now available in short and long versions
The Haimer Mill solid carbide milling cutter is available in the long version F2004LL with 3 x D for large penetration depths and as a short version F2014KK with 1 x D for small penetration depths.
The all-rounders can be used to machine a wide range of materials, including steel and stainless steel, cast iron, copper and hardened steel.
Characteristic of the end mills are the uneven cutting edge pitch, the center cutting edge and a neck shoulder for greater depth of cut. The milling cutters are supplied with h6 shank quality and precision-balanced. The concentricity is <10 μm. A short version with a cutting edge length of 1.25 x D is suitable for shallow cutting depths. The long version is used when high component walls need to be completely machined to achieve continuous, high-quality surfaces.
