High-feed milling cutter from Walter
Three new variants available
Walter presents three new high-feed milling cutters.
The new milling cutters are the Xtra tec XT high-feed milling cutter M5008 for diameters from 16 to 66 mm and the two solid carbide milling cutters MC025 Advance and MD025 Supreme for diameters from 1 to 25 mm.
According to the company, the three roughing tools are characterized by a flat approach angle and light-cutting geometries. This enables high tooth feeds with low cutting depths. In conjunction with the high number of teeth, this should ensure a high cutting volume, stability and process reliability. In addition, the flat approach angle reduces the radial load on the tools.
