A new version of the Scheugenpflug drum agitator station is now available for potting tasks with high material consumption. It enables the potting material to be conveyed directly to the dispenser without the need for intermediate preparation.
For potting tasks, for example in the field of e-mobility or in the production of solar converters, large quantities of self-levelling media need to be prepared and conveyed. The system presented here prepares the media bubble-free under vacuum and supplies the dispenser directly with the medium without the need for additional material preparation. Potting under vacuum at up to 100 mbar is possible when conveying the material to the dispenser. Scheugenpflug has equipped the feed system with an eccentric screw pump, which enables the dispenser to be fed directly with potting material. The maximum feed rate is three liters per minute per component.
At the same time, the progressive cavity pump extends the system's range of applications, as even highly viscous media can be processed reliably. The circulation function prevents sedimentation of the fillers in the lines. This means that the potting medium used is available for further processing with the same quality even after production breaks or longer production interruptions - at weekends, for example. pb
