Emergency pull-wire switch

Andreas Mühlbauer,

For extreme environmental conditions

With the ZS 92 S series, Steute presents a new emergency pull-wire switch series for extreme applications. The die-cast aluminum housing is robust and multi-coated. The new rope system allows lower triggering forces and distances for actuating the emergency stop function. The switch is available in nine different presettings for the release lever and release mechanism. This means it can be installed in almost any operating position and can also be mounted on the rear panel.

The compatible connection dimensions both to the predecessor model ZS 91 and to other emergency pull-wire switches simplify retrofitting to existing systems. Options include an LED indicator light and the option to connect to the safety-oriented Dupline Safe protocol via an integrated and pluggable safety bus module. The temperature range is between -40 and 85 oC, with a maximum cable length of 2 x 100 m.
