Thanks to the two-channel unlocking signal, this solenoid interlock achieves PL e or SIL 3 performance values for both the interlocking and guard locking functions. Combined with the new Safety Fieldbox, several AZM400s can be connected to a Profinet/Profisafe node in a safety chain.

The Safety Fieldbox is characterized by a universal device interface with an 8-pin M12 plug. This allows different safety switching devices to be connected, for example solenoid interlocks, switches, sensors, light curtains and control panels. Solenoid interlocks of different types (electronic and electromechanical) each occupy only one device connection.
