With the Sky type, Jakob Antriebstechnik offers a safety clutch for indirect drives for overload limitation and collision protection that meets the latest requirements.
It offers high release torques of up to 9,000 Nm in a compact design. It is easy to install thanks to the conical clamping bush. Large shaft and bore diameters, a high possible bearing load and excellent concentricity round off the concept. By using high-strength heat-treated steel with surface hardening or plasma coating of the relevant functional surfaces, the manufacturer was able to achieve particularly high disengagement torques. The clutch is also available in a stainless steel version on request.
