The modular Emotron frequency inverters for renewable energies have proven themselves in practice in the operation of all-electric and hybrid-electric systems in various applications, such as on ships and in onshore systems. These can be operated with a wide variety of energy sources such as wind turbines, fuel cells and batteries. This flexibility is crucial for a future-proof energy supply, as it enables a seamless transition between energy sources or battery storage systems (BESS) as well as the feeding of energy back into the grid.
The product range consists of three core components: AFG grid inverter, VSI motor inverter and DCU to ensure a stable DC voltage. The AFG devices are Smart Grid Ready - they meet the global standards for intelligent power supply grids and can handle up to 150 percent overcurrent.
