Cutting, bending and forming tubes in one process
In the automotive sector in particular, short pipes with several bends in close succession are often required, for example for the engine manifold.
To avoid unnecessary waste, Transfluid Maschinenbau has developed a process that enables the economical production of short exhaust pipes with a compact bending geometry. The company has put together a machine system that is first loaded with pipe lengths. In the next step, the pipes are bent and then cut with knives. According to the company, the special feature of the process is that it is carried out on one level with the bending machine, which greatly reduces waste.
