Recognize the spindle status in real time
BMR manufactures frequency inverters for high-speed spindles in the power range from 150 VA to 3.6 kVA. The most important features are high acceleration, short braking ramps as well as a freely programmable I/O configuration and free configuration software.
In the "DressView" process for gate detection and dressing control, the spindle becomes a sensor. It determines data that enables the control system to react immediately in real-time evaluation. Among other things, the system detects the spindle status, tool fatigue or tool breakage. The measured values enable adaptive feed control and stabilize the production process. DressView-Lite is an embedded solution without a display that is integrated into the frequency inverter.
