Milling cutter
Quality is improving
Lightweight constructions are becoming increasingly important in all areas. Weight and resource savings have contributed to the development of new materials. More and more new materials are finding their way into advertising technology.
Plastics, aluminum and aluminum alloys, Dibond(R), copper and copper alloys, fiber composites, aramid fiber materials, honeycomb composites, graphite materials and GRP/CFRP and similar new materials require new techniques for machining and processing. With its "Rapid Line" HSC milling cutter series, which will be exhibited at Intec, SPPW offers a tool with an extremely polished (finely lapped) flute. Combined with the special cutting edge geometry, these milling cutters have a favorable coefficient of friction and better chip flow when machining long-chipping materials. The occurrence of low temperatures prevents overheating and welding.
These milling cutters have a longer service life and achieve a remarkable surface finish that makes subsequent polishing unnecessary. The Rapid Line HSC milling cutters with pyramid teeth for processing composites are a special innovation: These milling cutters are manufactured using a special grinding process and result in the highest production quality with extremely sharp cutting edges and polished flutes. SPPW offers three toothing profiles: a fine profile for fiber-reinforced plastics with a high fiber content, a profile for soft materials with a tendency to stick and a coarse profile for sandwich materials and foams. These cutters are available in different versions. pb
