Compact motorized castor for pallets and heavy loads
Rulmeca has launched a new motorized roller onto the market. The EPS-AS1 roller motorizes roller conveyors for heavy loads of up to 1,500 kilograms.

Torwegge is presenting the IHE enclosure series for the first time at Motek. With a load capacity of 700 kilograms, the components are particularly suitable for use in warehouses and assembly halls where heavy goods need to be transported.

Tente aims to meet customer requirements with castors, wheels and the best possible overall solutions. The product portfolio for the industrial, commercial, transport and medical sectors includes standard products as well as customized special designs and system-integrated solutions.
In order to combine the factors of energy efficiency and noise reduction in a track roller, a fundamental contradiction between the two must be overcome. Chiara Steiner, Head of Sales & Business Unit Development Intralogistics at Faigle, explains how the manufacturer has solved this problem.
Blickle's portfolio includes various solutions for in-house transportation, including lifting castors. They are versatile and ensure that mobile operating equipment, devices and machines become stable work surfaces.

Faigle has presented a new castor: smooth contours, a narrow running surface and a modern color concept are the features. The manufacturer has developed the castor for use in parcel and baggage sorting systems.

In addition to its range of lifting rollers, Blickle will be exhibiting the Ergomove series electric drive system at Motek. Depending on the model, it has a permissible total weight of one to two tons load capacity.

Torwegge is presenting its smooth-running mini heavy-duty roller rails at a trade fair for the first time. The conveyor elements consist of galvanized sheet metal rails fitted with burnished steel rollers or flanged rollers.
Increased commitment in the USA

Wheel and castor specialist Blickle is strengthening its commitment in the USA and has opened its new branch in Newnan in the US state of Georgia.
In-plant transportation at a food manufacturer in the USA was anything but smooth. The reason: wheels mounted on stainless steel tubs were not able to withstand the high loads and were wearing out quickly. The solution: specially developed wheels from Blickle.
Wheels and castors increase work safety
If designed correctly, wheels and castors can make a significant contribution to increased work safety. The main causes of accidents at work can be mitigated by moving and braking loads safely and keeping them stable.
