After more than 30 years at the helm of ams.Solution, Manfred Deues stepped down as CEO of the ERP consulting and software company for batch size 1+ on September 30, 2022 and moved to the Supervisory Board. At the same time, Eckhard Ulmer, another member of the Management Board and an employee from the very beginning, will leave the company. As this situation was foreseeable in view of the age structure of the current Management Board, those responsible had already been in close contact for a long time in order to arrange the succession. From the outset, all those involved - the Management Board, owners and Supervisory Board - agreed that the vacant Management Board positions should ideally be filled by internal candidates. This is because they are best placed to continue the company's growth due to their in-depth knowledge of both the product and consulting philosophy as well as the agile organizational structures. Consequently, the appointments of Andreas Montag for Projects and Customer Support and Nikas Schröder for Product, Development and IT are visible signs of the family company's customer focus and continuity.

The official announcement of the new Management Board members was made to ams.Solution's customer and prospective customer base at a ceremony held at the Congress for Individual Manufacturers in Frankfurt on September 28. In his speech on the personnel changes, Supervisory Board Chairman Rainer Girmes emphasized that the decision of the committee he heads was a clear signal to the market to maintain the character of the powerful and agile family business in order to continue to maintain a partnership-based relationship at eye level with customers. This is also reflected in the appointment of Simone Schiffgens, who has been responsible for Sales, Finance and Human Resources for many years, as Chairwoman of the Management Board. She is thus taking over the position from her father Manfred Deues, who is moving to the Supervisory Board. Company founder Willibald Müller had already taken this step in 2019. Both company owners, whose professional life's work was extensively honored at the event, will continue to support the new Management Board in an advisory capacity, as will Eckhard Ulmer. In this constellation, Manfred Deues can also contribute the extensive knowledge gained from his work with ife - Netzwerk für Einzelfertiger, which he continues to lead as President.

With this concentrated expertise behind them, Simone Schiffgens, Andreas Montag and Nikas Schröder look to the future with confidence. "With more than ten years of diverse experience in ams customer projects, it is important to me to tackle the requirements of our customers together with our employees and thus ensure mutual success in the long term," says Andreas Montag. He sees the consistent focus on individual production as an important unique selling point that makes ams.Solution a respected partner that stands for broad solution expertise and a high level of innovation. Nikas Schröder fully agrees with this. He wants to remain a reliable partner for customers, offering holistic solutions across processes and applications, with a strong focus on technological progress and the user experience.

The new Executive Board took up its work on October 1, 2022.
