VDE-tested handles on the diagonal cutters
The small precision diagonal cutters Electronic Super Knips from Knipex are a precision tool for the finest cutting work, especially in electronics and precision mechanics. Now an insulated Super Knips has been added to the VDE tool range. A version with insulated, VDE-tested handles is now also available.
For all work on electronic assemblies where an insulated tool is required for safety reasons, the Electronic Super Knips are now also available with VDE-tested insulated handles in a striking red and yellow multi-component sheath. The uniform appearance of the VDE-insulated Knipex pliers ensures that people do not accidentally reach for an uninsulated tool. With the diagonal cutters, which are only 125 millimetres long, even hard-to-reach work areas can be reached easily thanks to the slim pliers head. Smaller pliers are becoming increasingly important in order to be able to work precisely on ever smaller components. The tool from the world's leading manufacturer from Wuppertal is the first VDE-tested electronic diagonal cutters in this size from a German manufacturer.
The shear cut with controlled micro-cutting edge offset enables ultra-precise cutting of even the thinnest wires and also ensures less wear and tear and a long service life on the tool itself. The precisely shaped tips with their ground, very sharp cutting edges without bevel also cut through soft wire such as copper from a diameter of 0.2 to 1.6 millimetres. The cutting edges are also induction-hardened and have a cutting edge hardness of approx. 54 HRC. The pliers are made from rust-resistant stainless tool steel and their extremely smooth action allows users to work with minimal fatigue.
