Ergoline light crane system
The load is not felt
Vetter Krantechnik, a specialist in slewing jib cranes, presents a manually movable crane system with aluminum rails. The Ergoline system combines stability and smooth running.
Vetter explains that the smooth operation is based on optimum power transmission, which aims to set new standards in operating comfort. Sensitive handling and fatigue-free working should be possible wherever goods have to be produced or processed and a high turnover of goods takes place. While the easiest way to move conventional manually movable workstation crane systems is from the center, Vetter is taking a new approach with the new trolley system and the principle of gimbal mounting: This mounting guarantees low travel forces from any position. The bracket for suspending the crane girder is mounted in a ball element and can be rotated. The crane girder itself is mounted on pins. This gives it degrees of freedom in all directions. The operator only has to apply a small amount of force to move the crane.
Both the crane runway and crane girder are made of aluminum profiles. The smooth running enables purely manual crane and trolley travel. Vetter has reinforced and thus stiffened and stabilized the aluminium profiles in order to achieve greater spans and bay lengths. Ergoline achieves maximum spans of 7.5 meters and maximum bay lengths of eight meters. Any number of bays can be connected in series.
The crane system consists of standard components. This means that a complete and individually designed workplace crane system can be put together. Universally adjustable crane supports made from telescopic profiles make this possible. The crane system is also easy to attach and does not require a complex foundation. The only requirement is that the ground conditions are suitable in terms of load-bearing capacity and concrete quality. The crane supports are securely and permanently fastened to the ground using composite anchors with dynamic approval.
Vetter addresses different target groups; on the one hand, end customers who require a complete crane system and dealers who in turn serve their customers. On the other hand, other crane manufacturers and their dealers are also to be reached under the term "steel construction system".
The gantry crane system, which Vetter also has in its portfolio for the load capacity range up to 1,000 kilograms, could be replaced by Ergoline over time. This is because the market demands smooth-running crane systems with low travel forces and dead loads. The topic of ergonomics is also becoming increasingly important in crane construction. Ergoline is to become an equivalent product to the Vetter slewing jib crane. In the medium term, the company is planning an online configurator.
