Baler
The packaging has to go
HSM is exhibiting the HSM-V-Press 860 plus B vertical baler. Thanks to its wide feed opening of 1,500 millimetres, it produces large, highly compacted bales of cardboard or film that can be marketed without further baling.
With a pressing force of 594 kilonewtons and low-noise rapid traverse technology, it is an economical and environmentally friendly solution for many waste disposal tasks, according to the manufacturer. Thanks to the special HSM TCS (Torsion Control System), the inclination of the pressing plate is continuously monitored in all directions. This prevents one-sided loads, optimizes the pressing process and ensures a long service life. The machine is controlled and operated using a microprocessor control system and membrane keypad with a graphics-capable text display that shows the current status of the machine. The bales reach a material-dependent weight of up to 550 kilograms and are held together by a fourfold wire strapping. pb
