The infrared heating technology specialist Tel from Leichlingen is coming to Hanover with the Tansun Apollo series. These are electrically operated short-wave infrared radiant heaters for heating hall areas and workplaces. Infrared technology has the advantage that partial areas in larger halls or outdoors can be heated without preheating. It is not the air volume that is heated, but primarily only the surfaces and people in the cone of light.
When a hall is partially used, it is then no longer necessary to keep the entire air at a constant temperature around the clock, but only the actual work area for the duration of the stay. With an appropriate power supply, operation is climate-neutral, and local production in Europe rounds off this technology as an ESG-optimized solution. The model range extends from two-kilowatt devices for individual workstations to 18-kilowatt area heaters for more than 100 square meters. According to the manufacturer, the infrared radiant heaters are a recommended alternative to gas-powered hall heating.
