Linear systems are often used on the machine wall to move doors, monitors or panels. Igus has developed a hybrid linear system so that the linear guides can better absorb the lateral forces.

Two hybrid bearings with polymer rollers and tribo sliding foils ensure low-friction adjustment. The WJRM-41-10 bearing has two diagonally offset polymer rollers with optimized alignment for better force absorption and easier rolling. The hybrid roller bearing WJRM-31-10 with single roller is the matching support bearing on the opposite side. By using both roller bearings, the user can minimize friction coefficients by half and increase the service life of their application. In addition to the rollers, both bearings contain sliding elements made of the tribo-plastic Iglidur J. The two bearings can be variably positioned at the desired bearing distance. as
