Winkel in Illingen, a specialist in linear and handling technology, is launching new aluminum profiles for mechanical engineering. The profiles for Speed+Silence and Speed+Force linear systems complement the existing steel and stainless steel supports.
Winkel supplies these profiles in combination with Vulkollan and polyamide rollers. The supports are robust and can be used flexibly. The aluminum profiles are available in six different sizes. The diameter of the chamber ranges from 53 to 180.5 millimetres. This means that the profiles are precisely aligned with the angled roller system. With the combination of both components, load capacities of 20 kilograms to over one tonne are possible, depending on the size.
Thanks to a precision ball bearing, resistance remains low. The profiles are made of high-quality AW 6060 T66 aluminum in accordance with DIN EN 12020-2. The material is corrosion-resistant, which means that no further surface treatment is required. pb
