At the AMB, HSi presented its software solutions for automated planning time and cost calculation as well as work plan generation.
The HSplan software is a technology-oriented work planning system for the fast and precise determination of planning times. The software uses preconfigured process modules for this purpose. These contain rules and value tables for the exact calculation of planned times. There are alternatives for data exchange between HSplan and an ERP/PPS system, such as setting up an individual bidirectional interface, embedding via an HSi work process or the option of complete integration.
With HSplan/ES, HSi offers another solution for ERP/PPS systems: In this case, the operation in the ERP/PPS system opens the work stage editor. There is no replication of HSi functions in the ERP system. As only the HSplan standard is used here, no additional development work is required. The data transfer only needs to be configured once for each ERP system. This is particularly suitable for medium-sized ERP solutions. A calculation module is called up for each work stage, which calculates the main, secondary and set-up times and generates texts. In this way, the program calculates the times of the individual work steps and documents them. In the case of integration into an ERP system, the HSplan/IS module supplements the work planning component of the ERP system with the functionality for determining planned times. All determined times, intermediate and final results of the calculation as well as the generated texts are available for documentation.
