Two at one stroke
With the ICS Multiscan, several barcodes can be captured simultaneously with a single scan and automatically provided.
Labels on pallets and load carriers, such as GS1 transport labels, often carry several barcodes, each of which contains data on the sender, article, batch and shipping unit number (SSCC), for example. With conventional scanning solutions, the codes previously had to be scanned individually. It can be difficult to hit the desired code when the codes are close together, resulting in multiple scanning attempts or even manual entries. ICS has developed a solution for this with "ICS Multiscan", which captures several barcodes simultaneously with a single scan and automatically delivers them to the correct position in the software input screen of the vehicle computer or forklift terminal. ICS Multiscan is tailored precisely to customer requirements, integrated without much effort and works with state-of-the-art hand-held scanners, such as the DS36 series from Zebra. The entire barcode data of a label is immediately available in the warehouse management or ERP system for further processing. The individually configured solution ensures end-to-end process reliability and increases productivity in intralogistics. pb
