Better climate in the switch cabinet
Up to 870 cubic meters of air exchange per hour: The new Fixcool filter fan is characterized by its effectiveness, quick installation with a clip and economical operation, promises manufacturer Häwa.
The enclosure manufacturer Häwa presents its latest Fixcool filter fan. The RAL7035 and RAL9005 models can now be installed in all enclosures, terminal boxes and housings on request and are designed to guarantee reliable dissipation of heated internal air. The new development uses an innovative airflow system to ensure that no so-called heat pockets can form, which often lead to individual components overheating. Marco Schmid, project manager at Häwa: "With the product we have developed, we achieve an even supply of filtered ambient air and thus offer maximum protection for sensitive components. It goes without saying that the IP54 protection class of the control cabinet was maintained."
The filter mats used for Fixcool consist of temperature-resistant fleece and a fiber structure that reliably separates almost all types of dust with improved separation performance and lower air resistance. "Thanks to their design, our filterfans have protection class IP54 and are therefore also protected against splashing water from all sides," says Schmid. With an appropriate protective cover, protection class IP56 can be increased without great effort.
The filterfans have an air capacity of 35 to 870 cubic meters per hour - a value that ensures smooth ventilation and protection against pollutants at all times, even with very tight loading and high operation. "This allows us to guarantee maximum safety for complex high-performance systems in the future too," says Marco Schmid.
Fixcool is available in two colors and for cut-outs of different sizes. A new feature is an additional size for housing cut-outs measuring 177 by 177 millimeters. It has cULus approval for the North American market. Sturdy plastic clips ensure quick installation, the filter mat is particularly easy to change thanks to a practical folding mechanism and energy efficiency has been increased. as
