Setup time optimization for temperature control connections
A large number of temperature control connections often result in long set-up times and unnecessary machine downtimes. Time loss or quality problems can also occur due to possible errors during coupling. Meusburger offers a solution here with the multi-coupling system EU & USA.
The various multi-couplings allow the temperature control circuits to be connected in just one work step, thus optimizing the set-up time for the connection from 20 minutes to 20 seconds, for example. Errors such as mixing up the hoses can also be avoided. According to the supplier, the time savings start as early as the design stage thanks to clear selection, CAD data and ordering at the touch of a button as well as delivery from stock. It makes sense to use the same coupling profile that is currently in use. In this way, the single hoses on the machine can be coupled to the multi-coupling on the mold at the same time as the conversion. Meusburger offers the EU E 2861 / E 2871, USA E 2862 / E 2872 and RMI-Stäubli E 2830 / E 2833 systems for this purpose.
