Helukabel at the Hannover Messe 2023

Jörg Schröper,

Electrical connection technology for industrial applications

At Hannover Messe 2023, the Helukabel Group will be presenting itself more strongly as a provider of complete system solutions. The specialist for electrical connection technology will not only be presenting its portfolio of cables, wires and accessories for industrial applications, but also highlights from the product ranges of its subsidiaries EKD Systems, Sangel Systemtechnik and Kabelmat Wickeltechnik. There will also be a live demo of the start-up company Aufmaster at the stand.

Helukabel is a global supplier of cables, wires and accessories. The portfolio includes solutions for all types of industrial applications from mechanical and plant engineering, automation and drive technology to electromobility and renewable energies. More than 30,000 stock items and a state-of-the-art logistics concept are designed to ensure reliably high availability. The company also focuses on individual or complex special designs, which are manufactured to the highest standards in its own factories.

At the HMI, the Helukabel Group will also be demonstrating its ongoing development into a system provider: in 2022, the company acquired EKD Systems, a company specializing in the development and manufacture of cable drag chains made of steel, stainless steel and plastic. Sangel Systemtechnik, also a member of the Group since last year, offers high-quality, industrial-grade cable assemblies for mechanical and plant engineering.

The Kabelmat Wickeltechnik subsidiary will also be represented at the trade fair stand in Hall 13. It develops equipment and machines for storing, winding and cutting cables and wires, steel cables, pipes, hoses and profiles to length. Visitors will be able to take a closer look at the Lagrol cable drum rack and the Motrol ring and reel winder and see the efficiency and ergonomics of these handling solutions for themselves.

Another innovation is intended to demonstrate Aufmaster: The system consisting of a measuring device and associated software is designed to automatically record and document cable sections on construction sites. Electrical companies can use it to significantly reduce their time and costs and simplify the billing of projects, according to the promise. Helukabel is involved in the development of the Aufmaster as a partner.
