Fluid automation in dedusting
Asco, an Emerson company, offers customers a comprehensive, ATEX-certified range of valves for dust collectors with fabric filter separation, designed in a patented diaphragm valve form.
The 2-way pulse diaphragm valves are characterized by fast opening and closing and thus ensure effective cleaning of dust filters and economical air consumption. Short switching times of between 8 and 14 milliseconds are achieved and the noise-reducing fluttering of the diaphragm is prevented by design.
Depending on the design of their system, customers can choose between directly actuated, externally actuated and electromagnetically actuated valves.
Asco also provides the corresponding additional components for the latter two variants: suitable pilot boxes with integrated control valves as well as sequencers for periodic or pressure-dependent cleaning of the dust filters in various combinations. ee
