Predictive maintenance for semiconductor production
The control valves for ultrapure water are an important supply medium in semiconductor production. While specialists used to check these valves personally on site, an IoT solution now checks the critical components.
Acoustic sensors, machine learning algorithms and a flexible cloud platform help to detect damage at an early stage.
The technicians only need to call up the visualized data on a dashboard. Continuous monitoring of the condition of the valves using edge AI enables demand-oriented maintenance and thus minimizes costly regular inspections.
