The content of the new edition has been extensively revised and new chapters have been added. In addition to technical chapters on hydraulics, sealing systems, materials and drive technologies, life cycle costs, energy efficiency and the automation technology of centrifugal pumps in the age of Industry 4.0 are covered in more detail. Calculation examples and a comprehensive keyword index help to delve deeper into individual topics and save time-consuming searches. The practice-oriented handbook helps engineers and technicians who are responsible for the planning and installation of pumps and pump systems and provides students and interested parties with an introduction to pump technology.
