Software module for robot control

The newly developed Movikit Robotics is a standardized software module for the modular automation system Movi-C from SEW. It enables the universal control of serial and parallel robot kinematics.

With the Movikit Robotics parameterizable software module, SEW enables the control of universal robot kinematics. Starting with the fast creation and editing of robot programs by the worker without programming knowledge - even directly on the machine. Commissioning takes place through graphical configuration and the subsequent completion of the robot program in the Movisuite Robotmonitor and efficient teach-in of the robot in a short time.

According to the manufacturer, the use of standardized software modules also contributes to high software quality. Simple parameterization means that no programming is required. The functionality of the software module can also be extended with add-ons, for example to control robots with up to six articulated axes or to handle moving workpieces.

Movikit Robotics is primarily used for handling applications such as palletizing or transferring goods. However, it can also be used in other areas, such as plotter applications, adhesive applications or the decoration of baked goods. as
