Trade fair premiere for Okuma at AMB 2022

Okuma Germany announces new products for its first trade fair appearance in direct sales for Germany: In addition to the LU3000EX, Okuma will be showing the LB3000 lathe, which offers a high degree of automation in conjunction with the Armroid articulated arm robot.

The LU3000EX for 4-axis simultaneous machining is suitable for workpieces with a large L/D ratio and difficult-to-machine materials thanks to its heavy and robust design, generously dimensioned flatbed guides and high-torque drives. The lathe also demonstrates its advantage when using two tool turrets that work synchronously, with double feed or simultaneously.

This allows main times to be reduced by up to 50%, unit times and costs to be cut and productivity to be increased. Okuma's own OSP control system also ensures that the LU3000EX is extremely user-friendly and easy to program in dialog mode. With innovative technologies such as the "Thermo-Friendly Concept", "ServoNavi" and "Machining Navi", the solution provider also compensates for temperature fluctuations or vibrations during machining and ensures optimum results.
