High-performance milling cutters from Mapal
For aluminum and steel processing
Mapal is expanding its portfolio of high-performance milling cutters for machining aluminum and steel.
The OptiMill milling cutter family now has four new members with the OptiMill-SPM milling cutters "Rough" and "Finish" as well as the OptiMill-Uni-Wave in a long version and the OptiMill-Uni-Wave with central internal cooling (from left).
The OptiMill-SPM milling cutters "Rough" and "Finish" exploit their potential primarily when machining structural components made of aluminum. While "Rough" enables high feed rates and infeed depths during roughing, "Finish" is suitable for finishing contours and pocket walls.
The OptiMill-Uni-Wave is particularly suitable for full slot milling with a slot depth of up to 2×D in different materials.
