Retraction force measurement of machine tool spindles
The Dyna Force testing device from Big Kaiser is used to determine the retraction force of machine tool spindles.
Regular measurements of the retraction force indicate an insufficient holding force of the spindle clamping mechanism in good time, which can lead to reduced rigidity and vibrations and thus to a loss of machining quality, poor surface quality and a shortened tool life.
The tester is equipped with a digital display and a cable and is available with 30, 40 and 50 mm cones. It is also compatible with the Big Plus spindles. Used regularly, the testing tool helps to prevent damage to the machine tool and increase process reliability.
