Milling, turning, grinding and gear cutting on one and the same machine - in a single clamping operation: Soraluce's multitasking machines are the answer to technically complex workpieces with tight tolerances that require different machining processes such as turning, milling, drilling and thread cutting.

At the AMB, Bimatec Soraluce is presenting this technological progress using a customer machine, the Soraluce bed milling, turning and grinding center TA-M 35, which was purchased by Feinwerk GmbH, a contract manufacturing company from Baden-Württemberg.

Feinwerk has not chosen the sanding option for the time being, but it can easily be retrofitted. Visitors to the trade fair can expect a machine with

  • Longitudinal travel (X): 3,500 mm | Vertical travel (Z): 1,500 mm | Transverse travel (Y): 1,200 mm
  • Heidenhain control TNC 640
  • Automatically indexing milling head with spindle clamping for turning function, infinitely variable indexing, 5,000 min-1
  • Automatic tool changer with 40 magazine positions
  • DAS+ (patented) for chatter-free machining
  • Automatic feed control / Soraluce Adaptive Control
  • Two chip conveyors / chip breaker function (chip breaker)
  • Complete splash guard cabin
  • Compact design for installation without separate foundation
  • Table load 8,000 kg / milling, 2,000 kg / turning and grinding
  • Integrated NC rotary table with Ø 1,250 mm
  • Universal milling head for processing in any angular position
